2009 Canadian Boilermaker National Graduate Apprenticeship Contest to take place at Lodge 128

National Training Coordinator, Grant Jacobs, has announced the Sixteenth Annual Canadian Boilermaker Graduate Apprenticeship Contest is being held June 14th through 18th, 2009, in Burlington, Ontario. The practical testing will take place at Lodge 128's training place at Lodge 128's training center.

For an apprentice to be eligible to compete for the Canadian Boilermaker Graduate Apprenticeship contest the candidates must:

This years contest will be the first time a local lodge has hosted the event at their own training center, in the past the contests have been held at one of our partnered local community colleges.

Lodge 128 - Labour Day 2008

Lodge 128 has a proud tradition of joining other Unions for a Labour Day parade throughout Ontario, since the 1880’s. 2008 was no different with the Boilermakers parading in the streets of Southern Ontario proudly showing the Boilermaker spirit.
